Material: Bluestone and copper
Size: 29 x 60 x 23 cm
€ 2750

During the renovation of the sidewalk in my neighborhood, I came across this bluestone residual piece, with a slight bend in it. That inspired me to this shape. It is a solid mass, but the interface with the base is minimal. The copper form is a clearly visual element, but is also necessary to keep the stone in balance.

The statue is made up of two parts. The top part rest loose on it. The skin is carved in structure with the pointed chisel. The edge is only smoothly finished at the top. You can still see the rough stone on the inside.

This sculpture is very suitable for placing outdoors.
