Two almost identical shapes, can be combined in all kinds of ways. The slightly narrower shape balances on the somewhat wider shape. An interplay, in which the forms keep each other in an exciting and precarious balance.
The bluestone is partly sanded smooth to grey, and partly deeply polished black, making the fossils in the stone more visible.
